MAK3 Construction is a Limited Liability Company (LLC) established in November 2003 and reactivated in 2024 as a General Contractor based in Anchorage, Alaska, specializing in modular construction. With a strong vision, extensive experience, and a team of skilled professionals across various trades, MAK3 Construction has successfully expanded and diversified its presence in the commercial construction sector.
Our Expertise
Our expertise includes new construction, installation, and commissioning of permanent modular systems, renovation, and alteration of commercial buildings, unique concrete projects, mobilization and demobilization of portable man camps, development of mobile water treatment and storage solutions, and the installation of permanent and portable steel buildings and structural steel erections.
Our Leadership
Our leadership brings over 45 years of combined experience in construction and arctic remote site logistics. Principal members, Terry Maketa and Brian Maketa, are committed to delivering exceptional results through their extensive industry knowledge and hands-on involvement in every project.
Brian Maketa
Brian Maketa has successfully contributed to numerous projects, including the Brooks Range Camp, ASRC large equipment maintenance facility in partnership with SKW Construction, and Federal Highway projects involving overpass structures and underwater concrete projects. His expertise in handling complex and large-scale projects ensures that MAK3 Construction maintains a high standard of excellence.
Terry Maketa
Is one of the original owners in MAK3 from 2003-2016, Terry Maketa served as both facility and business manager at the DAC, overseeing critical projects such as the installation of a new baggage system and Jetway. He provided quality control over the construction of the Audi test facility pad. His leadership experience strengthens MAK3 Construction’s ability to manage and deliver on diverse construction needs.
